Northern Minerals ripoff artists extraordanaire Anchorage Alaska
I won an ebay auction for a 6 piece set of Northern Minerals on 8/28/05. I had used other mineral makeup and liked what I say on their ebay page. So I bid on an auction.
In the time between receiving my final price for the auction and first contact with the Oliphants, I received an e-mail declaring these people to be FRAUDs and THIEVES. I did not know what to think, and being what I now know to be a complete and total fool, I let the Oliphants know what the other person said. I got the whole story. The baby came early, there was a car accident, a long time spent in the hospital. And I fell for it hook, line and sinker.
So based upon the assurances of Philip that they were in deed a reputable company, I sent my money via money order to AK. It was documented as received on 9/10/05, via e-mail. Posted to ebay on 9/11/05, and cashed on 9/12/05. And that's the last I saw of my $46.34. I should have waved goodbye.
My saga continues. Promises were made in Sept. NO Makeup. In October I got inventive and found someone who got their phone number and got it for myself. I called Philip on a Friday afternoon, and again I was promised it would be in the mail the following day. Still nothing.
I filed a dispute with ebay, but since they closed these clowns down, it basically sat until it expired.
I could not go to PAYPAL, because I paid by money order. I did however collect from a bad ebayer through them, because I hounded the scroundrel.
I have a file of 47 e-mails back and forth. I have the e-mail where Michelle promised to send the product. That was on 12/8/05, and unless it is coming via sled dog, I don't think it will show.
I promised them, that I play with the big boys and I will not relent until I see that I and others like me who have not been taken care of like Philip says in another report on this forum, have been COMPENSATED.

And their newest name is "Lets Face It" Professional Mineral makeup. Aleyska and Northern Minerals websites now default to Lets Face It when you click on home. So, they've done it again and are stealing more people's money as I type this.
My husband just had a heart attack. I don't need this kind of grief in my life. I just want my $$$$ back.

I believe that there are numerous nice people out there who work hard for their money. I am a single mother of three small children I support alone. I have NEVER been able to purchase makeup for myself but being thrown back into the job market, I thought I would finally break down and do something good for myself. Several e-mails relayed these concerns to the underhanded, scheming Michele Oliphant! She too, offered me a 50% discount along with my product. I told her to just send it! to date, nothing has been sent. I suggest that We, The People that have been ripped off file a joint lawsuit, showing over $500 stolen from us, (make it a criminal action).Perhaps there is a lawyer on this forum that practices in Alaska that can help us.It is worth the try or hundreds, even thousands of victims will be duped. What do you all say?

There is no finding them now. I e-mail. I have sent them to this report. I guess that they think that I will just go away. NO. NO. NO....
That is the wimps way out.
THEY STOLE MY $$. I work hard for it and I want my money back as promised by Michelle 12/8/05. Almost 30 days ago.
Yes, lots has happened. No responses, Christmas, New Years and I have had family crises. I need the money back and should have the product as promised. NOTHING>
I will not be ignored.
I will be taken seriously.
