NORTHLAND COMPANY failed to pay for work completed Minnesota
northland company is a property preservation company that outsources work in the foreclosure industry for service link and other such companies. i worked for northland for several months and found them lack integrity in business practices in dealing with their contractors. everthing with them started well but as time went on my payments starting coming late. the company blamed it on my mail service, which was not true. as i contimed to ask for timly payments and accounting of my checks, it didnt not improve to the point of quiting to work for them. since then they has refused to pay me stating that they were in a payment disput and could not pay me.
this has gone on weeks and i still have never been paid. i know of at least one other contractor who had the same issue. in my book failing to pay for completed work is simple theft. i did the work, they were paid(or maybe not but thats not my problem) and then refuse to pay the contractor. they have cont contacted me and have no effort to pay on what is owed. I would warn any other contractors who are considering working for Northland Company in the area of property preservation to avoid them unless you like working for free.
