they told us to pick our car up at 4pm, it wasnt ready until 830pm, it was dark when they gave it to us, turns out there was scratches on the car, we called them they next day, nothing they can do cause we already left the lot with the truck!

Car dealers would not want you to read this posting! car dealer's dirty tricks

#2Consumer Comment

Tue, May 25, 2004

it's a shame that car dealers can't be on the up and up. All they want to do is bend you over before their compatition has a chance. I have been trying to expose car dealer's dirty tricks for years.

Most think they are all above the law. Trust me you will not find a newspaper that will do any stories on car dealer scams and Rip Offs. It sure seems to me that the media, Newspapers, TV stations and talk radio will not do any stories that would expose a bad car dealer.

I want the public to know more about the auto industry. I also want to the public to be informed before they are taken advantage of. Go to this Rip Off Report mentioned below and read what this lady posted.

You might find it very informative. Take a good look at the second picture posted on her Rip Off Report. After reading it, you might want to contact your auto lender and ask for a copy of the credit app that they received from your car dealer.

You might get a big surprise after you read it. Blow up the pic at the top right and you will see the four car buying contracts this car buyer had to sign and she STILL GOT RIPPED OFF! Think about it for a second, Why should a car buyer have to sign four car buying contracts?

Many car dealers are playing with the car Buyer's info on the credit app before they send it to auto lenders. Most of the time a car dealer will only play with a car Buyer's credit app if the buyer has a lower income and might not qualify for what they are wanting.

Many car buyers also have a low credit score and it is getting harder for car dealers to get car buyers approved on car loans. Some car dealers are finding it profitable to play the "Fraud game" with car buyers documentation.

Here in Phoenix we have a "Talk Radio" station that I have been listening to for maybe ten years. I can say they get my attention with some of the topics that they have. You might say I enjoy 550 KFYI. They have a "Talk Show Host" named Bruce Jacobs. He does not seem to be a bad guy. Some might say he is fun to listen to.

So one day I contacted him to ask why is it that he will talk about pretty much anything people want to chat about except Car Dealer Scams? So I decide to put him to the test. I email him at brucejacobs@KFYI.com and ask him why is it he never talks about "Auto Dealer Scams" His reply was "wait by the Phone, The call is comming anyday" I like bruce's morning show. I think he is a OK host. I just want him to tell me why He will not talk about "Car Dealer Scams"

I would love it if he would chat about car dealers sending fraudulent credit applications to auto lenders. I feel the info I have would be very informative to the public. The American consumer needs to be informed of these types of scams.

Like to know what I am talking about regarding Fraudulent credit applications? Like to see what can happened to a car buyer behind their back. Like to see what a car victim has gone through? Go to the following Rip Off Report.

Go Read what this lady wrote. After reading her rip Off Report, do you think the public should know about this kind of scam? Look at the second picture in her Rip Off Report. Now If you think the public should know about Rip Offs like this email Bruce Jacobs @ 550 KFYI brucejacobs@KFYI.com and ask him why he will not talk about it. If you live in Phoenix, call his morning talk show up at 602-258-5394 and ask him live on his morning show. See what kind of answer he gives you. The only thing he does when I call is hang up the phone. Go put the media to the test. See what responce you get. You might have fun, I do!

Don't get me wrong, I like his morning show. He talks about all kinds of things. Politics, crazy things drivers do on the freeway, law inforcement, our local government. You name it he will talk about it. Try to get him to talk about "Auto Dealer Rip Off's, NO WAY! Maybe car dealers is a topic that is off limits to talk show hosts at all radio stations because of the big advertising money the all get.

Email Bruce Jacobs at brucejacobs@KFYI.com and ask him is "Auto Dealer Scams" a No No? Don't get me wrong about KFYI. I have been listener for 12 years. I just want the consumer to know about auto dealer scams.

I have been trying to get him to tell me why he will not chat about auto dealer scams. His last reply to my email was "YAWN" and that's it. He will not talk about fraud in the auto industry at all. Go to the Rip Off Report that I mentioned above and you tell me it it is news you can use.

www.badbusinessbureau.com/reports/ripoff52158.htm

Now go look at the above mentioned Rip Off Report and read it real good. I hope that you find it informative! If you think this is news, go contact Bruce Jacobs at brucejacobs@KFYI.com and ask him why is it he never talks about "Auto Dealer Scams"

All of you fine folks that live in New York have a great AG's office. Like to see how he kicks the a*s of car dealers? Go read the following. Post what you think. Also if you want to, email Bruce Jacobs and ask is the topic of auto dealer scams OFF LIMITS?

It sure seems to me that Attorney General Eliot Spitzer in New York likes to "kick a*s" and ask questions after the "a*s kicking" has taken place. Go check it out for yourself. Do you think for on second that your local newspaper would ever do an in-depth story on a car dealer in your town if one of your local car dealers were doing what this car dealer got in trouble for allegedly doing?

Read this and think about it real hard before you go to any car dealer of your choice! Attorney General Eliot Spitzer announced that a Rockland County auto dealer will have to pay restitution and civil penalties to settle allegations that it deceived consumers into thinking they were purchasing top-of-the-line sports utility vehicles. The settlement also covers allegations of false advertising by the dealership.

Auto Dealer Cited For Selling "Eddie Bauer" Look-A-Likes. This is a*s KICKING in a big way

Mr Eliot Spitzer you can call me anytime if you need some extra help when you go after a auto dealer for deception! Just ask the Editor here at Ripoffreport.com for my email address. My hat is off to you. Maybe one day I can post my thoughts on other AG's in this country.

My hat is Off to Eliot Spitzer is a man that all consumers in New York should thank. He has the balls to spank car dealers that are reported to be playing deceptive car buying games.

If you would like to know more as to what can happen to you if you do not understand how the credit system works, you need to go to the below web site and read the whole thing! Then ask yourself ONE QUESTION!

Would my local newspaper ever do a story on this?

http://www.puertorico-herald.org/issues/2002/vol6n48/NissanChargesHier-en.shtml

Now, if you would like to have a real challenge, try this. Go to the below web site and try to find a "Talk Radio" station that will talk to it's listeners about AUTO DEALER DECEPTION! Trust me, you will not find a radio station that will air a car dealer's dirty tricks.
