Northside Choppers Cashed Postal Money order for sale of goods not recv'd Northlake Illinois
12/05 found a bike parts locator on the internet for a set of OEM 80-86 FXWG forward controls. A person "Desperado" contacted me and said he had what I needed. Told me the the amount of the part, said I had to pay IL. state taxes on it, and shipping charges. All totalled at $328.25. Sent out U.S. Postal Money order 12/22/05. Spoke with Desperado many times wondering where my parts were and got a bunch of baloney. Finally never returned calls, or e-mail. I just want my money back.

I filed a complaint with the BBB in Chicago and in return I was told that Northlake Choppers did not respond. I believe that this person Desperado intended to rip me off from the beginning and now will not respond to any e-mails, phone calls or the BBB. BBB has given me a few phone numbers to contact law inforsment in the area and I plan on making this person aware that he ripped me off for $328.25. If anyone knows how to contack Desperado I can be reached at xxx anytime.

I sent Desperado an e-mail detailing our transaction and am waiting for his reply. I certainly hope he remembers. I sent a pic back to him that he sent me of what I was purchasing and he should at least recognize the bike and or his shop if that is where the pic was taken.
Thanks for the help.

Will they return my money is the question?

Northside Choppers may have helped you, but they sure left me high and dry. Desperado was my contact and he was the one my cash was sent to. If you can help me get back my funds I would appreciate it. Like I said in my report, I have a receipt for a Postal Money Order. It was cashed my Northside Choppers and I did not receive any merchandise.
Thanks,
Gary

I have used them just recently for an outer fairing and many times in the past for other parts, and have never had any problems with them. They have been very helpful with advise on what will or will not work on my dresser.I turned them on to my brothers here in Florida who have used them as well without any problems. So until they screw up with me,I'll still keep using them a parts finder.
Thanks
