When North Star damages your property they refuse to pay the repair or replacement costs. I paid them over $7,500.00 to move me and over $1,100.00 in storage fees. They caused over $5,000 in damages to my furniture, over $500 in fraudulent charges on the credit cards one of the movers stole when packing my office, and they offer me a $189.00 settlement. My property damage claim was submitted on June 20, 2016. After months of Monique Diaz ignoring me, my contacting the mover, Alan Nudel, and him forwarding my claim and complaint to his supervisor, still nobody called me back until I threatened to call the Better Business Bureau. Monique (818-534-0484) finally emailed me wanting to talk. Due to my work schedule I emailed her that I would call her at 10:00 am on Tuesday, 08/23/2016. Guess what? She wasn't available and I was told that she would call me back. I called every hour that day and left many messages, which stated my name, my call back phone number, my claim reference number, and again my call back number. My phone does show those calls. Nobody called me back. I then emailed Monique (Monique.D@northstarmoving.com) and that's when Wendy De Paola emailed me stating that she was taking over the claim. That's when the calls to her (818-727-0718) started. Not being able to get a hold of her, I finally emailed her (Wendy.P@northstarmoving.com), again with my call back number, and never received a call back. I also sent a copy of my email to the company CEO, Ram Katalan (Ram.K@northstarmoving.com) and never received a call from him.
