Northstar service inc. Dryer Vent Cleaning this company is a scam.they tell you. you can work cleaning dryer vents.but you got to buy your own tools witch is $290.00 thats the catch,they want you to send in the money before you can start.i did wixom, Missouri
I called this company in reference to a job opening. They advised me to send in $290 for equipment that I would need to perform the job. Once I sent in the payment I called back to see when would be my start date and they said that I did not have a job. I asked about my money and they said that they did not have any information to give me on that. Now I am out of $290.

I CALL HOAX ON THIS "EMPLOYEE." I HAVE DEIGNED MY OWN FLYERS, ATTEMPTED TO DRUM UP MY OWN BUSINESS VIA SOCIAL MEDIA AS WELL AS DOOR TO DOOR AND LET ME TELL YOU, NO ONE WANTS THIS SERVICE. PLUS I CAN GUARANTEE YOU DIDN'T GET WIN ANY LEGIT CUSTOMERS BETWEEN 4-6AM, THAT'S LITERALLY INSANE. IT'S 2018 AND WHEN I SIGNED ON WITH THIS COMPANY AT THE END OF 2016 I ASKED SPECIFICALLY IF THERE WAS A VACUUM ATTACHMENT. INSTEAD THEY SENT ME A SUPER LONG SPRING WITH A BRUSH ON THE END OF IT.

I joined up with this company in 2011 in March, paid the same as you did. but instead of just waiting around to get jobs from the company I went into business for my self. I designed a flyer that I would pass out on customers doors anyday I wanted to work. It was set up to get you jobs the next day. I would go out early about 4 am and pass out flyer until 6 am. Then go home and wait for the phone to ring. In 2 hours I would pass out about 200 flyers. My goal for the next day was olways 4 or course more was better. They charged $69.95 for a mornal clean out, I got permission to change the price to $40 so it was dirt cheap. For a long time I averaged 20 to 25 clean outs a week, so the money was always good. If you think your going to spend a few dollars and that was for equipment, and thats going to get you a job, good luck. They told me that I could use their business license, so there was not other costs to me. Right now it's 2015 and I am starting the company up again this time with a special device designed for cleaning dryer vents a vacuum cleaner and a snake, seems to work good too. So all I can tell you is go aut and do something with the equipment you have instead of just sitting on the 5 gallon bucket they sent you.
