I recently found the following on ACLU website.

Recently Northwest Airlines provided the names, addresses, travel plans and credit card numbers of its customers to a NASA project in complete violation of its own privacy policy. In another example, JetBlue provided information from over a million of its customers to the Transportation Security Administration, also in violation of its own
privacy policy

Please ------Boycott NorthWest Airlines. Please!!!

They need to be taught a lesson. Credit Card information should not be given to no one including NASA.

I do have a objection to NASA getting credit card information from over a million travelers.

I will continue my NorthWest Airlines boycott campaign. In case the right wing n**i's
in this country don't like it. I refer you to the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

I futher refer you to the fact a complaint was filed with the U.S. Department of Transportation.

The Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) in Washington publicized documents about the transfer obtained through a Freedom of Information Act procedure. NASA requested from Northwest Airlines the passenger data (PNR) from July to September 2001 for use in development and testing of passenger-profiling schemes. Northwest acknowledges the transfer. The company said in a statement that the transfer was 'appropriate' but that its current policy 'is to not provide passenger name record data to private contractors or federal government agencies for use in aviation security research projects'. EPIC has filed a complaint against Northwest Airlines with the US Department of Transportation.

Further, This issue is not a manufactured scandal. Its fact!!!!!!!!.

From my standpoint this topic is closed. I will continue by boycott and discourage people from flying on the n**i Airlines of Northwest. Further I refer you to all the complaints against NorthWest airlines on the internet.

Further, The n**i's in this country are always trying to downgrade and erode Americans civil rights in this country. I am proud to belong to ACLU. They are a watchdog group that fight for good Americans rights. As for the n**i's in this country. I have my answer for them, someday.....A full metal jacket!!!!!!

Boycott.......Northwest Airlines....Boycott

Let's clarify a few things about this manufactured "scandal".

NASA was developing a new security software program designed, among other things, to identify confusion caused by people trying to phonetically write Arabic names in Latin letters - where what we call "Osama" can just as viably be spelled "Usama", as the specific Arabic letters in the 'real' name have no exact equivalent Latin letters. To 'test drive' this software they needed a real database of millons of people. NWA provided it, at government request, and on the understanding that NASA would destroy it when the testing was done - which they did.

I'm not surprised that the ACLU would be unhappy at anything that might make it harder for other antiAmerican groups to attack America, but why are you unhappy about it?

Richard
