Complaint Review: Norton Symantec

I thought Norton Anti Virus was the best of the best at combating computer viruses! I guess I was VERY wrong because I have a worm virus that causes the computer to reboot everytime I run a full virus scan or when I try to download or remove files! So far I had this software for about 4 months and it worked very well! But 2 weeks ago when I tried to remove Java 6 the computer would reboot. So I went to the Live Chat who at first was able to fix the problem. Java 6 is still on my computer but I was able to download Java 7!

Now everytime I try to do a full virus scan the computer reboots! I went back to the Live Chat to get help again was it taked FOREVER to get assistance! Finally when someone spoke to me online from the Live Chat I was told to purchase Spyware and Removal services for $100 for every incident or pay $20 a month for unlimited help! WTF???!!!! What's the point in Live Chat? Oh yeah it's to get more money! Norton is supposed to be powerful enough to remove worm viruses! I would NOT be surprised if the workers put viruses in the computer to get more money from customers!

This software costs from $40 - $60 and I am not going to be suckered into paying more money! I will just get this crap off an get another anti virus system! I wouldnt be surprised either is the "Live Chat" is in some foreign country like India who is running these con games! Why cant this software fight against viruses when a full scan is being run? It sued to do it with no problem? It runs a quick scan perfectly! This is Norton placing viruses in their own system to get people to pay and additional $100 - $20 a month for assitance! These are corporate con artists CROOKS!
