SEPTEMBER 2009  I purchased Norton 360 for 3 computers .  The subscription was for 2 years.
January 2010 one of my computers picked up a virus.  Norton didnt catch it and still is oblivious as I had to use other software to eliminate the virus.   I recently reformatted a laptop  with norton And when I reloaded the Norton software,  my software key didnt work,  saying I had used up all The activations.  I had 500 days left of subscription.  I had only activate 3 computers once each.

I wasted my time calling the tech support,  some guy Sankrath,  and he said he would try to activate my Subcsription  by remote.   So I watched this guy try putting in the code several times,   Gee I already Did that and explained that to the guy.  He said then I must contact the software vendor where I purchased  The Norton 360.
In other words he told me to pound sand.

(((competitor's name redacted))) software is a free download and blew away the virus.  Thanks Norton,
and Good bye you bunch of turds.

SO NOTE THIS.  NORTON DOESNT ALWAYS  PROTECT YOUR COMPUTER,
NOR  WILL THEY HONOR YOUR SUBSCRIPTION IF YOU HAVE TO RELOAD IT.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome. CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report. In this case we removed an alleged competitors name
