I am not sure if your show is aware of the current crisis with a company called Norvergence out of New Jersey.

I am a Norvergence customer who signed up with the telecommunications company last fall. They were providing packaged telecommunications services to thousands of small businesses like mine around the country. Recently, Norvergence went bankrupt. This itself was not a problem, as I scrambled
around to get new cell phone, long distance and internet access with other providers. However, the real problem is with the leasing companies that Norvergence contracted with to lease their equipment to us.

These leasing companies continue to insist that we must still pay for the equipment regardless of whether the services provided by Norvergence are still active since they went bankrupt. It may be likely that these leases were setup incorrectly by rolling the cost of the services into the leases. The actual equipment cost is $2000 and I am paying $35000 for the lease.

Myself and thousands of other small businesses have signed these leases with 60 month contracts worth thousands of dollars! Unfortunately it contains strong contract language in favor of the leasor, but we may have been duped into signing. Many companies like myself feel this may be a scam of immense proportions, or at least an unjust consumer practice. Is there anything that you can do to investigate this? There are literally thousands of companies around the country interested in this and I think a worthy issue.
