This company has had severe issues with maintaining a staff (firing for what seems to be good reason or for no reason at all) and I have even heard of at least one subcontractor is so upset that they are no longer willling to work with the company.
We were told our house would be completed in July. It is now December and when I brought this up as in issue since in the last two weeks only two people have come to my house for a total of 3 days to do ANYTHING, he had the nerve to say "I am trying to help 3 other peole get in there homes" even though we are in no way in a contract with those people. He then went on to say that "People are living in shacks made of garbage just across our border. I'm sorry you are living in such poor conditions" as if other people's living conditions have anything to do with him not doing his job.
Our lease is up on our old place so we are having to live in the unfinished house. He fired our first two project managers. After the firing of the second for apparently messing up scheduling (he was the only one who we felt actually worked hard on our house), work has basically come to a halt and he has not given us any timeline on when we can expect a finished house.
Our construction loan is expiring due to him taking too long on the house and we have to convert our unfinished house to a mortage. If you want a company that will not lie to your face and say your house is done on the inside even when you have doors missing inside the house, then don't go with Novum.
