NPC Merchant Services Lakisha Antoine Deceptive sales tactics Houston, Texas
Hello, If you ever think about working with a NPC credit card processing company.....beware. They may tell you that they can save you money with regard to the credit card processing rates, and that may be true, but where NPC merchant services company got me was in locking me into a processing machine for 48 months at approximately $50 per month. At no time was I told the lease was for 48 months, in fact I was told that I could cancel the service with NPC at any time with no cancellation fees, because there was on contact term.
What I was never told was that I would be locked into a non cancel lease contract for the processing machine that would later be sold to a third party, not affiliated with NPC other than to pay NPC Leasing branch, money for the lease. I was also told that it was fully insured and that if it ever broke I would get a new processing machine at no cost. A month later after having the service I received a letter from a bank holding the lease telling me I needed to have the machine insured and since I had not presented to them an insurance policy on my credit card machine, they would now begin to charge me an additional $2.50 per month for insurance.
I feel the idea that NPC presented me with saving me money only cost me $2,000 in more expenses for the credit card processing machine, that I could have bought on the internet for a total of $650.00. Who in their right mind would rather pay $2,400.00 for a $650 credit card processing machine. If you are reading this do not fall for the bait and swap plan that NPC will save you money. The scam is locking you into a 48 month lease on the equipment! This is where the sales rep. makes their money. My rep. in Houston was Lakisha Antoine. She even was in my BNI networking group and acted like my best friend, needless to say to only deceptively sell me on cancel at anytime scam.
Yes you can change companies, but you are stuck with the leasing bill for 48 months! If they only presented the entire cost up front that would have immediately told me to not do this agreement. I am disappointed that I did not see this deceptive sales tactic from the start. So do not focus on the rates, focus on the cost of the equipment they sneak into the transaction, by just getting you to sign on the dotted line like the processing rates are the most important part of the contract. Cypress, Texas is where there office is located just outside of Houston, Texas.

"If they only presented the entire cost up front that would have immediately told me to not do this agreement."
They presented it to you in the documentation that you signed without reading. Verbal agreements have no value. The written agreement is the final word.
