A Company calling itself A2Z Offsite has sent me a couple bills. They claim I made a contract over the phone with them in January 2013. I do not recall this deal. In mid-April, a man identifying himself as Jake Ryan from NRS called me to collect a debt. This is strange for several reasons. One is that A2Z never sent me an invoice claiming I was 30 days or 60 days overdue.

They simply sent me 2 bills, one in February, one in March. It's also strange that Jake gives me a 469 phone number, and not an 800 or 888 number. Also odd to me is that NRS website is NRS.us; not a .com or a .net website. Jae playd a recording of my voice allegedly making this deal over the phone. I have contacted the FTC and they tell me you can actually buy things like this from other companies - so the recording may be from me making an arrangement with a totally different company.

That would also explain why they had my old e-mail address, one that I changed months before January. Also significant is the fact that Jake sent me an e-mail with the company name, address and a phone number and fax number. Once again, there is no 800 number for the fax or phone. And they want me to send it via federal express, not the US mail. Why? That would probably be mail fraud.

I believe A2Z and NRS are probably working this scam together. So, just demand Jake, or whoever, send you written and detailed information about the account, and refuse to send a payment through Federal Express.
