This is the 3rd time I've had to find these people! Last March I got charged 150$ in overdrafts due to 2 charges for magazines. Incidentally, the debit card I used was invalidated by the bank. The charges were declined the first time; but they still submitted them to the bank and Wells Fargo (for whatever reason) accepted them.
I called the number on my bank statement and like everyone else, got the automated system.

I called Esquire customer service who gave me 800-799-9939. I immediately got through to a real live person who cancelled the order and made sure credit would be submitted to my bank within 72 hours. I got my credit and the credits for the overdrafts.

This time, it's been harder to locate the number I dialed in March. Eventually I remembered that I called from my cell phone and I found the number I dialed on my bill. Again, they said they'd issue credit.

I also filed another claim with Wells Fargo and once the credit appears, I'll get credit for the overdrafts.

I'll learn from this experience in the future!
