shh marketing YOU WON!! and now you're going to pay for it and maybe you'll only notice if we cause THREE OVERDRAFTS to occur in your checking account

It is now July 10, 2002. More than a year ago I clicked on a "WIN CASH" game at Virtumundo's TREELOOT site. A message told me that I would "WIN" a free product if I played their game and visited their sponsors. I did and I received a congratulations from them that I could choose some free magazines that I would receive for a year just for my time.

I looked for a clause about being charged at a later date or anything like that and nothing so I chose. A year later my checking account shows up overdrawn $141.90 by an NSS. I dig! Nothing but ONE on the internet about this company.

That ONE was this site RIP-OFF REPORT. I read this man's experience and called the number he listed for the company and sure enough they had a record of the three magazines I had chosen. But they weren't VIRTUMONDO or TREELOOT.

I said that I never signed up to pay for any magazines and they immediately refunded the subscription fees of $19.97, $19.00, & $15.97. What about the rest of it you say? OVERDRAFT FEES because they made unauthorized charges when after I had just paid all of my bills and now the bank charged THREE FEES of $29.00 each.

The bank says that the comapany that made the charges is responsible, NSS says their terms of agreement releive them of responsibility and the only terms I would've read were Virtumondo's TREELOOT Official Rules of the Trreloot game which do not releive EITHER company from a responsibility to ME. Not to mention that First Union wants to call any refund of their charges a "courtesy". Since they have given me a "courtesy" before they won't help now.

I don't think it would be a "courtesy" if it weren't MY OWN error. But when I disputed the first charge they did NOT protect my account from the next two or their own unfair fees. Don't know what to do. # X $29.00 = $87.00 is a household bill that I can't pay now!
