I wish I had written this when my problem occurred. This is in regards to nTelos. I was informed, when I signed up, that I could call from Savannah, GA (was in my plan) & not be counted as long distance. I made it a point to ask about it BEFORE signing up with them because I do a lot of traveling to there. I was assured it was in my plan. I also asked the salesperson to disable roaming because I didn't want to accidently run into it. He pushed some buttons & said he did.

I had the service for 1 month. I had countless dropped calls & down times, I went to Savannah & came back several times. I also traveled within 15 mins of Charleston (the capital of WV) & didn't have any type of signal all the way to Morgantown & back again (get a signal again in Charleston). Ironically, the phone worked in Savannah. I was charged roaming AND long distance.

I contacted nTelos, my sales guy, & told him everything that had happened. He apologized & gave my info to the store manager. The store manager called me 2 days later & also apologized & gave me the # for a lady @ the main office.

When I called the main office, the lady informed me it was not her problem & I should just deal with it. So I decided to take it to the BBB in WV. They didn't help me either; they informed me that they did what they could & I should deal with the company. I ended up having to pay for my contract cancellation for a contract that was fraudlent in the first place. All the terms I agreed to didn't exist.
