Me my wife and a long time friend had heard the "we will buy out your old contract" advertisement from Ntelos. We were with Verizon and had compared plans and it seemed cheaper in the long run and especially without a cancellation fee so we went in and I spoke with a sales associate about the ad and he told me about the ad. informed me that they do buy out contracts andtold me to my face if I wanted to switch just bring in and up to date bill from my current carrier and they will fax it to whoever takes care of that portion and they would credit that total amount to us which was my wife and I and my friend it added to around $505 (wife had already paid her feeble fire hand). he then said that once it went through our Ntelos account would be basically be a negative amount (-$...amount of cancellation fees) from previous carrier and we wouldn't have any payments due because of the credited amount to our Ntelos account would pay for our service for however long the credited amount would cover and that we would not be receiving any bills until the total amount credited was gone back to positive amount .so i jumped into a contract with confidence that all of this would work out for the 3 of us and that it sounded like a great deal. but they failed to mention that my wife's Verizon bill never faxed through and that the only amount we would be receiving was 170 per our 3 lines and only 2 of the 3 lines were credited this amount which was extremely short of the amount we were told and was nothing compared to what was advertised as "buying out our old contract".

so now I'm stuck with bills from Verizon 3-4 months late on a cancelation fee that i was not supposed to be responsible for which is over $500 and first 3 months bills from Ntelos that i was told i would not receive until the credited amount of 500 or more was subtracted as a result of my monthly payments and they also failed to mention that the whole process takes up to 30 days to take affect. I've wasted my time and money that I don't have and messed up my credit with verizon all because of an associate wanting to make a sale and a well advertised ad from them stating that "we will buy out your old contract you do nothing we will do the rest". it's a scam and I want my money back and they need to pay for my Verizon fees like they've advertised.
