Numa Models Ripping Off young girls dreams Internet
My daughter was signed to Numa in Edmonton in July 2011 after being told she had great potential and that their was quite a bit of work for her age group and a lack of models in that age category. We purchased a photo shoot (which was mediocre at best),intro to catwalk (30 min class with a male staff member), acting class ( still not recieved) and comp cards (still not recieved). In total this cost about $1200 and six months later I have still not recieved services paid already paid for.
All staff from the Edmonton location left in September and Edmonton location "temporarily" closed down and we have heard nothing from them since. We have sent several emails and phonecalls with no response. The worse part is they have done absolutely nothing for my daughter. I warn all models or want to be models do your research and go to a respected agency. Stay far away from Numa when it comes to modelling. As for the other aspects of Numa I am unsure but if they are unproffessional thieves with models I wouldn't doubt they are similiar in other departments.
To parents of young teens don't waist your time or money because you will spend a fair amount of money to get very little and you will spend a lot of time (you become their agent) to get them off the ground. Research, research, research don't let them lie to you and read all the posts that are up about them. I blame myself for not doing the same.
