Nuvega Lash Lash Rejuv, DM Beauty LLC A "Free Trial" for which I was to pay only $4.99 resulted in nearly $200 in subsequent credit card charges.
The company’s marketing material advertises a lash growth product as “try before you buy.” However, you don’t get a free sample, as the advertising implies, you are signing up for a subscription to a “beauty club,” for which you receive ongoing charges (to the tune of $200/mo.) While the tiny type (if you can find it) says this is a “14-day free trial,” my credit card was charged nearly $200 less than 5 days after receiving the product, as apparently the free trial began when I purchased (on Feb. 2nd), even though it took them until Feb 15th to get the product to me.
While the company claims they have a 30-day money back guarantee, half of this was burned up before I even received the product, then another 5 days went by before the subsequent charges were made to my card. Of course, I see them right away, so by the time I realized this was a scam it was too late to return the product.
