Complaint Review: NuWave Precision Induction Cooktop

NuWave Precision Induction Cooktop They are deceptive in that they mislead the customer into believing you get more product but then don't send it. After calling they tell you to pay additional shipping and handling charges to get the rest of the order (the free part of the offer) which turns out to cost as much as the original order.  We saw the infomercial and thought it was a great deal...... get 2 cooktop, pots and pans, and much much more... Only pay $99 and get the second cooktop free. Only pay shipping and handling for the second cooktop. It never said to pay shipping and handling on the free gifts.

I was ordering the product and it asked if I wanted the second cooktop and I checked yes and it charged the shipping and handling to our total. I was happy that I was getting all those produces for $159.89... It then showed an additional set of pots and pans but the charge next to it was another $60-$70 so I did not check that (as I was already getting the free pots and pans with the original order).

When I received the package there were no pots and pans in the box. After contacting the company about their mistake, I was informed that the $60-$70 was for shipping on the FREE gift! I am sending the 2 cooktops back but I lose my orignal shipping and handling! They probably sell the same cooktops hundreds of times for the shipping and handling alone..... 

I am very dissapointed in this company and their service. I am a GM at a local restaurant and will be informing all my customers about this company...

We have a large number of quality products available and we are careful to provide our customers an opportunity to receive each offer being advertized at the time on TV. When placing orders online, each offer is presented one at a time with all charges being accepted or denied by the consumer before proceeding to the next offer. At checkout, there is an opportunity to add/remove items if you should happen to change your mind prior to finalizing your order. This is also done over the phone. We have implemented an email confirmation system to avoid these types of occurrences going forward. We will continue our efforts to improve the customer ordering experience.
