Purchased a Powertrain Warranty from this company and they deny everything that needs repair if claim is filed. 4 months into purchasing my car my transmission failed. NVP Warranty claims my Powertrain covers Engines and transmissions as well as components. That was a lie. My car sat in the shop for 2wks waiting for an inspector to come take a look and the following week they finally gave the shop an answer and denied my claim.

I kept asking why purchase the Warranty if they weren't gonna honor it? They gave me a bogus answer and it was because they don't cover transmissions. I paid out of pocket and storage fees due to them taking 2 wks to send an inspector. Did I get my money back NO. This is a terrible company. I contacted the BBB. Please never purchase a NVP Warranty you'll be paying out of pocket for every repair.

NVP Warranty is the administrator of vehicle service contracts or warranties. A vehicle service contract is used to repair or replace covered parts against mechanical failer. We pride ourselves in following the rules set forth in our contracts. That is why we have one of, if not the highest google ratings of any vehicle service contract company. Without having a claim or contract numbers, it is difficult to address your complaint with the reason your claim was turned down but I can tell you that all BBB complaints are addressed. Because we follow the rules of the contract and do everything we are able to for our customers, we know that consumers will want to work with us. Even in the cases that a claim is turned down a claim adjuster will still help the customer find parts or even a repair shop that does not charge as much per hour.

As for inspections, inspectors are used to verify a customer's complaint (vehicle failure). When we submit a request for an inspection we are required to receive a report on that inspection within 48 hours. Most inspections happen within 24 hours. The 2 top reasons for denial of a claim found by inspections is commercial use of the vehicle and continued operation of the vehicle after a part has failed. Both of these are covered in the contract. Try to look at it this way, if you have a tire blow out on the highway and you keep driving the vehicle till even the wheel is even gone should just the tire be covered or should all of the parts you damaged be covered? This is a great way to look at what should be covered.

When it comes to what is covered on our different plans, please review our website nvpwarranty.com to see what plan will work best for you. I would be happy to go over what is covered, and walk you through our contracts so you know what you are buying.
