Nyberg Photography
RIPOFF Nyberg Photography SCAM
I had a shoot in mid-May, and was really disappointed in the overall experience – Brad Nyberg started late and ended early to make the next client, and Brad Nyberg made me feel rushed the entire time. When Brad Nyberg wasn't shooting, he was texting or reading email on phone - very little encouragement, guidance or direction, and no attempt to make me feel comfortable. It was like a factory - here are the props, you have three outfits, we need to get moving....no time to actually even explore the props, which aren't organized by size at all.
I received no email follow up and waited 9 weeks before reaching out again - Brad Nyberg had said it would 8 weeks or so for results. Brad Nyberg clearly had no idea who I was, and ASKED ME TO SEND A PHOTO FOR SECURITY PURPOSES. Really, does he think I'm that dumb? Three weeks later I finally had an online file, and an email asking me to okay selected prints. I responded, and a month later...no prints. After emailing two additional times to let Brad Nyberg know they hadn't arrived and asking Brad Nyberg to see if the printer (she doesn't do her own prints) had sent them. No response.
While I did like many of the shots, due to the rushing and lack of guidance re expression (more like "arch your back, lower your hand") and stress - many with my face aren't what I'd like...
In addition to the shoot, I paid for hair and make up, took a day off work, bought lingerie...it was an expensive shoot that I had hoped would be really fun (it wasn't - it was like dealing with an automaton) and/or would have great shots - and I still don't have prints. I wouldn't recommend to anyone...go with someone who cares about what they're doing and about their subjects and will make you feel fantastic while you're there.

We paid a $2000 deposit and he never came to our wedding. No refund and his phone was disconnected.

Here is another ripoff report 'review' posted by Jimmy Page for a different company:
ripoffreport.com/r/Jeanesque-Photography/nationwide/Jeanesque-Photography-Jeanelle-Folkes-Jeanesque-Photography-bad-review-1217114
And here is the exact same text used in a YouTube "review" for my company:

And here is the exact same text again used in a YouTube "review" for a photographer in Austrailia:

It is obvious that this is a scam, and that these 'reviews' are all fictional.

This review is so off track, it's hard to know where to begin picking it apart.
"Jimmy Page" has never been a client of my company.
"Jimmy Page" claimes to have "paid for hair and make up, took a day off work, bought lingerie..." for this alleged photo shoot. The company he is claiming this about specializes in wedding photography and newborn photography. I do not do adult portraiture. I do not take photos of women in lingerie, and I certainly do not take photos of men in lingerie.
"Jimmy Page" further alleges that he had issues getting prints delivered. That actually makes sense, because Nyberg Photography has NEVER been in the business of delivering prints. I only deliver digital files.
So here is what is going on with this review:
There is currently a scam targeting photographers nationwide. It begins with a threat of negative reviews if the business owner doesn't pay a "reputation management fee". Whether the business responds or not, the scammers will post many negative reviews, then offer to have them removed or pushed down the search results... For a fee, of course. Below are a couple links to information about this scam:

With just a little bit of searching, I was able to find that "Jimmy Page" is apparently also Mohamad Obama:

And a little more searching, I found that "Jimmy Page" is also going by Jennifer McMahon:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvsoXyd40iaOrZpB69F8N1A
If you check those youtube links (they are to their 'uploaded video library'), you will see around 30 negative reviews about photographers nationwide. Apparently Jimmy/Mohamad/Jennifer has had a very bad run of photographers. They have ruined a dozen of their photo shoots, and ruined nearly 20 of their weddings.
I recommend that if you are looking for a photographer, please read reviews and research them carefully. This applies to more than just my company. Hundreds of companies are battling this review scam at the moment, so please take the time to carefully research reviews before assuming they are true. Thank you for reading my wall of text.
