O' Premium Waters ripoff, dishonest, deceitful, coniving, unprofessional scam artists Mesa Arizona

On May 31st 2004 My sister in law and myself were at my home in Mesa when a salesperson from O'premium waters knocked on my door, he was a very cunning, coniving, confincing salesperson with a great sales pitch which turns out to be just that. We were told that they were having a special during the holiday promoting their products and services, we could try the service free for 2 weeks with a deposit of $39.99 with a postdated check that wouldn't be cashed for 2 weeks and if we decided not to keep the service we could cancel with no charge and no obligations and they would just return to gather their equipment and unused products.

We were also promised that if we decided to keep the services there would be no obligation, there would be unlimited water service and it would be on a month to month basis with no obligation, if we kept the services we would be charged $39.99 for the 1st 6 months to pay for the water cooler (machine) and that we owned it after that and they would service it for as long as we were customers and we could return it when we cancelled our services with no reimbursement.

When he produced the contract we were told that it was just for us to sign giving our permission to debit our accounts and that anything that was stated in the contract would not apply to us because we were on a month to month basis. He continued to explain in his own words and when we inquired on seeing the contract he wouldn't let us. Again for the reason stated above, he than continued to obtain our signatures. He wouldn't accept my debit card and my sister in law was kind enough to write a check for me for the supposed deposit and I gave her the 39.99.

When my sister in law tried to cancel her account during the 2 week supposed "trial period" she was told she couldn't because it was a contract with an obligation for 36 months and any verbal or oral promises by the salesperson didn't apply unless in writing. My sister in law asked if she could even be charged the early termination fee of $125.00 and was told no by the customer sales rep.

I have had my services for barely a month and have had to trade out my water cooler, which by the way I will not own in 6 months per the salespersons salespitch for various malfunctions, doesn't chill the water, doesn't heat the water and gives the water a very horrible smoky disgusting taste. If I have to change this cooler again I will be very upset, not to mention the fact that I can't leave the cooler out because my 2 yr old is constantly playing with it or knocking it down, which is a headache in itself, the supposedly child proof knobs are not childproof at all or I have a very keen 2 year old.

I have recently inquired on my bill and have been told by the customer service rep that I will never receive a bill that the account is automatically debited and has already been debited on the 5th from my sister in laws account and will continue to be debited until replaced with another bank account info. I told the representative that this is not fair because it is my account and my sister in law was kind enough to provide a post dated check for my supposedly "deposit" for "2 week trial period" and that it should be my option to receive a monthly statement and pay for it on my terms with my preference, even the essential bills such as utilities and phone. Even a car payment that it worth more than stupid water doesn't require this information, it is cheaper to go to the store or the machines to obtain water, without a contract and being told what you can and can't do and how it will be paid for.

I think that it is highly un professional, deceitful, frustrating and dishonest for a pitiful water company to have to go out and hustle gullable, living honestly day to day consumers whos only fault is beleiving untruthful sales pitches, I don't understand the purpose in huslting normal everyday honest hardworking people for water. I guess you walk the horse to the trough and make them pay their hooves off.

I have written a letter to the Federal Trade Commission. the Attorney generals office and the Better Business Beureau regarding this false advertisement and will get out of my contract anyway that I can HONESTLY, TRUTHFULLY and LEGALLY.

I have many friends that are consumers to O'pittiful premium waters that were also mislead and very disatisfied with their services and the way that they were conived into this contract. Even the original salesperson has quit this company since the time of our initial contact because he says the company is fraud and they make him lie to consumers to obtain business and her was the the first person to sign my petition.

Any of you unsatisfied feel cheated and abused and mislead customers are welcome to sign my petition and I will also be contacting the many consumers that have already listed their complaints about this company via e-mail. Contact me by using the rebuttal box below and I invite any petitioners to sign my ongoing petition so that we can take a stand as one and fight this pitiful excuse for a company that has to get customers through lies and deceit.

I have contacted 3 on your side and will present them with my petition, I strongly urge any one thinking of signing a contract with this company to seriously read the back of the contract and understand what it entails before signing anything. I have learned the hardway and now am paying dearly for it.
