OAK CREEK VILLAGE OF CONOVER, NORTHCAROLINA, IS A REAL RIPOFF!!!!!
My husband and I bought a double wide home from this place, in July of 2000. We started paperwork for financing on the first of March. Well finally after a lot of trouble from them, we closed on the loan in August. It took them until October to have home ready to move into. We had a lot of trouble out of the manager and the head contractor. Both of them were hard to deal with, most of the time, making my husband feel lower than dirt. Here are some of the problems that we had with them...Carpet doesn't meet in the middle and is not seamed right, carpet doesn't meet at the walls, we can see insulation near the walls, ceiling needs to be spackeled again, sink has trouble, doors don't shut right or at all, I could go on and on. We had the factory come and fix alot of the stuff, the man that come out to fix it said that it was up to OAK CREEK VILLAGE to fix the "marriage wall" that their people put together. But they never returned out calls, and we even filed to BBB and nothing was ever done. I just want anyone to know that has anything to do with these people that they are crooked and they don't tell the truth to get things done. I know too that they have had more than 1 complaint against them also. Thankyou for letting me vent on this. Hope I will soon get over it and get this out of my mine.
