Complaint Review: Oak Leaf Kids Academy

This place has to be the worst daycare in Rowlett. They pull you in with the prices, because they're so low, but this is not a place you want your child to be. For starters, the toddler room is poorly maintaned. They have very few toys, the kids stay on no type of curriculum, the babies don't go outside so they stay in that room all day, no teaching gets done, and they yell at the kids all day. When teachers try to bring this to management's attention, they say they'll fix it but nothing ever gets done. Management is too busy on thier phones or doing thier make-up in the office to really do anything about this. State has been called numerous times, but they keep lying to them to stay above the radar. A little girl was locked in a closet in the dark for 30-45 minutes and the teachers were told to lie to state about the amount of time, so they wouldn't get into trouble for it. This little girl is now tramatized, but the parents have no clue because managent is lying to the parents as well. Teachers are forced to come in sick and only if they like you will they let you go home. They alter teachers hours, they make teachers clock out even if they're not finished cleaning, and they constantly gossip about teachers, parents, and the children. There's one after schooler teacher that gets special privledges and yells at the older kids all day. The older kids in the back run around the daycare throughout the day. There's no supervision with them either. Ms .Chelsea and Ms.April made a page on Facebook where they take pictures from employess, ex-employess, even parents pages...and post them on this secret page they have and talk horribly about them. This place should be shut down and Ms. April Moses should be stripped of her director license. Someone should come in and thoroughly investigate this place at random and pull all the parents to the side and question them as well as the teachers.
