On Saturday 8-30-08 we answered a plumbing call of not having hot water at Oak Creek Apartments, 707 Washington in Arlington,Texas. We were given permission to do the work and billed the property $341.25. I have been trying to collect ever since. We were told by the maintenance man that the property was managed by Henry S Miller. The Management company said they took over the property 1 or 2 days later so they are not responsible for paying the invoice. I have talked to many people at the property but no one who seems capable of helping me get this matter taken care of. I have now decided to post on Ripoff Report which has been very helpful to me in the past. Hopefully someone affliated with this property will see this report and decide to pay their bill. I will continue to research this matter as I will not perform Plumbing Services for free any longer. I will go into the public records to find who is listed on the tax records and post that as well. Corporate Services who is owned by a woman paid out of her pocket to have your plumbing needs taken care of. Now you need to pay her! I am tired of Apartments Complex owners thinking they can get services and not pay for them. Do you allow your tenants to live there for free? Do you allow them to keep your money in their pockets until they decide they want to pay their rent? I will continue to post all information I find about who you are on Ripoff Report until you pay your debt. I performed the services requested now you need to pay your bill. Really very simple. It's a small bill but I am prepared to make a large statement.

Small claims

Forget trying to deal with managers. Access property records (many counties have them online), get the owner's name and address and have him served to appear in small claims court. I'll bet the owner will want to take care of this without actually having to go to court. Your problem is that you can't get past the mindless drones that pass for management. Chances are good that the actual owner doesn't know you are owed money. Public records should do the trick.

Good luck!
