Complaint Review: Oakwood Acceptance Corporation LLC

i'm not one to ever complain because i always try to make the best of situations. i purchased my home in February 2000. and just like others my husband and i were so excited because we were going to finally get into our new home after living in apts and with relatives for so many years. i'd like to say new because to anyone who purchases a home, it's always considered like new.

now that i am going through a divorce and my ex-husband decided that i keep the home because it has been and always be for our children. they have become accustomed to it very well. we all enjoy it but there are some problems. some of the problems have been there since we moved in in 2000. and just like other families, we tried and tried to get oakwood to do the repairs and it never happened.

we have repaired one restroom floor but the hallway floor where the washer and dryer sit, is sunken in. we're always afraid it will fall in and i tell the kids not to run or walk over it too much because i'm afraid they'll fall in. but of course, we're in 2003, who's going to believe that this problem was already there.
it's outrageous how we had been treated by these representatives at oakwood acceptance. a simple reply or apology would suffice for me. there are some more minor issues that i could list but i won't at this time. it bothers me to talk about it.

when we first got to sign the paperwork, and just like others we were too excited to actually sit and read and go over it with a rep. i don't even know what we're paying in full or by when i will be done paying on my home. if anyone at oakwood can assist me in any way, please contact me via e-mail. i would greatly appreciate it. thank you!
