My husband had to have a brain tumor removed in 2001 after I had our second child. I was not working as much during my pregnancy and fell behing on our mortgage.

In 2002 my husband had to have another tumor removed from his breast and we did not have insurance so we had to pay for doctor's bills out of our own pocket. We fell behind again on all our bills including our mortgage.

In 2003 I was working less hours the majority of the year. Work was slow and we were living check to check.

My son also started pre-K in 2003 and naturally would get sick more often since he had never been around that many children. He was getting sick every two weeks with bronchitis and finally had to be hospitalized because he could not breath well.

I had no insurance for my family and that made us pay out of pocket for his medications and nebulizer for breathing treatments.

Again we fell behind on our payments. But everyone was cool about us paying our bills late or with partial payments. Not Oakwood. And especially not with Ms. Linda Watson. Every time I would call she would yell at me as if I were a little girl, she would tell me "Don't you care about your home? Don't you care if you don't have a home to come to? I want this payment yesterday! and I won't take partial payments" as if the money was for her.

She calls from 7:00am - 10:00pm Mon- Sunday. 20 times a day. She did not care about our medical bills, health problems or inability to pay. She wanted the payments regardless.

I have never dealt with a human being like her before. She is rude, heartless and coldblooded.

I have written on here myself but after reading this letter from someone who also had contact with Miss Linda Watson and her group, I had to respond.

I think the way to get this bad business company to rethink and maybe just apologize to all of us customers is to group together and get an attorney and file a class action suit for their business fraud, harrassment of customers and etc.

I am very seriously considering getting an attorney but I feel and have seen the effects of a class action suit.

How many of you know that Vanderbilt Mortgage is now Oakwood Acceptance and they are worse than the original Oakwood and they still have the original cast of reps.

I do not know about the rest of you but I did not receive any notice of Vanderbilt being the company now. I called and found this out and thought I had a wrong number.
