Oakwood Lending Group-Alex Beckett And Henry Morgan Promised me a loan and did not fulfill contract or refund my money. Miami Beach Florida
On May 7th I was contacted by Alex Beckett and told I was approved for $6500.00 loan @ 6% interest for 3 years; With my credit score bad, I had to come up with 6 months paymets of $1185.00 told him I did not ahve that kind of money.
He said borrow it from someone and pay them back when you get your money from us. Said it was approved and I would have the money in 24 hours after I Wired the deposit to Angela Martin In Smokey Lake AE, Canada.
I borrowed from my brother plus took my intire paycheck for 2 weeks and wired the funds on 5-9-08; I received a call about 2 hrs. later from Henry Morgan saying there was a problem with my loan, that the Insurance reaccessed my loan and had decided I wa shigh risk and they needed another $1185.00.
I told him there was no way I could do this; I stated that I was told this was a done deal or I would not have paid them what I already did. He told me that the Insurance Company had to rellok at the loan before money was loaned, that it was "A Goverment Requirment".
I asked for a refund and was told it would be sent out June 5th. I told him there was no way I could wait until then, that I hasd used my paycheck and had to buy groceries, gas and pay bills. He told me that was the rules, I had signed "a contract" and it had listed the refunds would have to go out in their "CYCLE" which was the 5th of each month.
Said it was out of his hands because I signed and contract and I was the one that changed my mind about the loan so I had to deal with it. I called Alex Beckett and acted like he was totally baffeled about the out come and would try to contract Henry and see what was going on.
He did not return my call so I called again and said it was out of his hands the minute I signed contract, my file went to the "exec" to finish the loan and pay out.
Here it is June 6th and guess what I have no refund, no way to pay my brother back and no way to reach these scum bag people who are preying on innocent people. Please HELP!!!!!!!
