My husband and I financed an Oakwood mobil home in June 1996. Since we have had this place it has been falling apart. Before one year was even up the furnace leaked and rotted the floors. Three light fixtures sparked and blew out.

They had left the water heater valve on and when the water was turned on it flooded the bedroom, bathroom, and washroom. There was nothing in the books they left that told us where the water heater was and when we called them they said they did not know, so we had to tear down walls to find it. They replaced the walls but not the floor, insilation or carpet. They said they would but keept putting it off, like many other jobs needed to be done, until one year was up. After the year was up for repairing any problems they told us "it is your problem now".

We have replaced the floor 3 times because of the furnace. The outside lights are falling away from the house. My front door from the beginning has a crack where the home is not setting level and now the screen door is falling off the hinges.

The kitchen cabinets are falling apart. All the windows leak and three of the upper windows cracked, because they are so thin, when the washing machine was on the spin cycle.

The fireplace cracked in several places after one winter of use.

The outside vents in the foundation have fallen apart.
