Oakwood Mobile Homes Corporation RIPOFF a Young lady from Louisiana. AUSTIN, Texas
Buying a home from this company was the Biggest mistake of my life. I got a home from Oakwood in 1999 and it is now 2003 and the house is in the wrost shape to say that I still have 20 years to pay for it.
The door leak the frame around the door have rotted and the window leak, the walls leak, the floor in the hallway is falling in, the house is not leveled and the doors don't close right the siding keeps coming off on the outside. It's just a piece of junk and after 5 year I still owe $30,000 and that what I purchase the house for in the first place. As everyone else has said, I will never advise anyone to buy a house from this company and if I could give it back without it affecting my credit I would in a heart beat.
How I wish I could get out of this loan. There corportion company is the unbelieveable. I don't see how they are still in business and as we know they have file bankrupcy. I have found a Law Firm that is in the process of filing a classaction lawsuit against them so everyone please get on board. the more the better.
