Oakwood Mobile Homes ripoff defective home House is falling apart floors are warping all pipes leak ceiling leaks Greensborough north carolina
My husband and I ordered a mobile home from Oakwood in July of 96. We specified plywood floors.For the first year the house was under warranty. Thay were out every month to repair something.
Every water source in this home has leaked. The heat and air unit leaks constantly. It has warped the floors in three rooms. Both bathroom floors are warped and the kitchen floor. Of course the floors are not plywood, they are particle board. The ceiling leaks. Water pools in the light fixtures. Needless to say the electric is messed up as well. Is there any thing we can do about this. Is there some kind of lemon law or something. It really seems unfair that Oakwood can get a way with selling these substandard homes.
