Complaint Review: OAN - Greentree Data Billed By AT&T

I, too, had the same charges on my bill. AT&T gave me this number - 1-800-215-1961. OAN said they would remove 3 months worth of charges. I asked to speak to an advisor. I spoke to Brian, ID# 6659, and he said OAN would credit all months of charges through AT&T.

I submitted an on-line complaint with the Attorney General's office. While reading another's complaint, notifying the FTC was suggested. I will do so.

I asked the person I talked to at AT&T to have a person from management call me. To my surprise, someone who said they were from management called two days later. She said, "there is nothing AT&T can do. The law is written so that we have to allow third party billing so that other providers can use our lines."

I believe the only reason AT&T participates in this scam is financial. I suggested in my complaint to the AGO that AT&T should have to notify a customer when a 3rd party billing is being made.
