OAN Services, Fraudulent Billing Of Directory Assistance Call Massachusetts ripoff Nationwide

I received my Verizon bill and it had charges listed for directory assistance totalling over $6 for one call. I called Verizon and they said to call the company. The phone line has been busy. As everyone else here, I couldn't find anything about them on the internet and Verizon wouldn't touch it.

Beware of OAN Services, Inc and Telseven, LLC

Telephone bill ripoff

#2Consumer Comment

Included in my recent Verizon bill was a separate $6.72 charge for service from OAN, Telseven, LLC, presumably for a telephone info. call.I called Verizon and they said to contact OAN at the number shown on the bill. After many tries I reached OAN.

OAN claimed that if someone calls 411 or 555-1212 thay are switched over to OAN by their local phone co. As I recall I did make an info call to get a long distance area code, but I was never advised as to what co. was handling the call. Further, who ever heard of $6.52 for one info call. This looks like a scam.
