OAN Services - Privasafe ripoff unauthorized charges to my phone bill Seattle Washington
I received my phone bill for the month of October and paid my account before it's due date. I didn't bother to look at it until today when I was reading ripoff reports from this site and found this scam. I immediately looked for my bill then you know what I found out...
I've been billed for 14.95 for an email service which of course I didn't order... i have my dsl provided by my local telephone co and yahoo for that service... anyway i call up the 800# i found on the bill nad talked to Barbara and she said i ordered their services online by entering a survey window....
I told her that i didn't recall having participated in any survey and she insist that i did...to make this story short, i demanded a refund for the charge they made and a cancellation of my account with them...she said that they will refund me for the charges but it will take about 2 billing cycle before it will be reflected in my account....and she also cancelled my subscription to their services...i just hope that it will be done....
If anybody out there who wants to make legal actions against this company, i am very eager to participate....let's make these bastards pay for the trouble they caused us....
