Complaint Review: OAN

About a year ago I had the same problem with this company, charging my telephone bill with Premium Voice Mail, 23.38 per month. I caught it the first time and was able to contact my phone company. The told me to notify OAN Services and to use the word "cramming".

Just the past couple of months I've noticed my phone bill abit higher but paid no attention and went ahead and paid, until my phone bill yesterday. I decided to really look at it.

Again, this company started charging me for Premium Voice mail that I don't even need as I receive voice mail thru my own telephone company for 6.95 a month. I got ahold of my phone company and I now have a block on my bill. They told me to contact OAN , which I did and the lady I spoke to told me that I had filled out an application for their service. I told her in not so nice terms that she was a liar, by the time I got off the phone she had removed my name from their list.

My phone company made it right with me. My bill was dropped from 125.00 to 75.00 which made me feel much better. A warning to all, really check out your phone bills each month. I neglected to do that and OAN got away with it. My phone company told me this was totally illegal, I would hope their would be some way to stop this company from taking advantage of people. Thank you.
