In my August 2004 verizon bill there is an entry for $10.99 which is on behalf of OAN Services inc. It shows that on Jun 25 there was a call placed at 900-622-8000 @ 9.99 per min. Which is absolutely not true. Neither me nor my wife has placed this call. We don't know whose number is this. Even I don't dare to call the number again to find who is on the other side. On the bill there is a web address www.oanweb.com and customer service number 1-800-892-8424, both of them are useless.

I am not able to understand how are these fake companies existing. Is not there any law which takes action against such a fraudulent companies.
