Complaint Review: Oasis Collections

 I contacted this company to book needed last minute accommodations in Miami Florida and was assigned to Jonathan Zuniga who promptly indicated that they had a place that suited all of my requests. Within an hour a property description and payment request was received by me and submitted accordingly. My questions were promptly answered and all seemed promising. Upon arrival to the hotel I confirmed the reservation and awaited the room to be ready. A few hours later when the 3 bedroom suite was ready I began the check-in process which included payment for valet for the entire stay and the daily incidentals rate of $150 to be told just moments later after paying that the hotel system showed that Oasis had cancelled the reservation. I then received an email from Jonathan stating that unfortunately they had to cancel the reservation as their other department had flagged it.

The hotel shared that I'd now have to book directly through them and repay the associated fees that would then be required for the new booking as the initial ones would be released in 3-5 business days. Several attempt by phone and email were made to reach Jonathan with no success. When asking for a manager or supervisor I was told that none were available but that I could try back later. A day later I was able to reach Jonathan who apologized and stated I'd receive my funds in full in the next 24 hrs accompanied by a screenshot of the refund being processed. Five days later I received another similar correspondence with the refund processing date reflecting the current date and still no refund. They rapidly took almost $6,000 of my money with the apparent intent of keeping it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I'm now seeking legal action. Dr. T
