Oasis Waterbeds, Land And Sky Manufacturer Ripoff said the manufacturers warranty didnt cover the puncture and after i found it was the inner coil they said they would contact the manufacturer never called back blamed the waterbed conditioner company wouldnt replace but would sell me new mattresses MESA Arizona
3 days before my 5 year warranty expired i found a leak in my soft sided waterbed (2 1/2" -3" foam sidings and pillow top) there is no way anything can get in the bed to puncture the mattress with all the padding on top and around this bed. the entire bed smelled like mold. i took the bed to oasis waterbed on dobson in mesa. they refused to replace it stating they couldnt say what punctured it. i was really mad. considering i pd $1110.00 with out tax for this bed thinking it would last a lifetime. well oasis waterbeds ended up patching the mattresses.
well, once again it gets another leak. 1 yr later. (mind you everytime the bed leaked i ended up with a chronic sinus infection or an ear infection. i'm highly allergic to mold spores) this time i called oasis and again they said there was nothing they could do besides patch and repair the leaks. so i got home and found that the hole in the mattress was due to the coil inside the mattress rubbing a hole in the mattresses. so i called oasis back and they said they would contact the manufacturer's warranty rep. and call me back. well, now 5 days later i still havent heard from them. and i took it upon myself to call the manufacturer LAND AND SKY and i spoke with richard in the warranty dept. he says the conditioner sold in the stores and waterbed stores was being made without the active ingredient and therefore the bed wasnt being conditioned properly and this was causing the mattresses to leak and i couldnt go back on that company because they went out of business. richard tried selling me a new set of mattresses and give me a free supply of conditioner for 4 years (the new length of the warranty) i found it quite amazing how the warranty has now changed and the other waterbed conditioners that are being sold in the stores are still on the shelves. wouldnt be taken off the shelves if they were out of business???
all i have to say is dont buy and spend the money on a waterbed with coils or from land and sky they will not stand behind there product and will use a b/s story to make you believe they are not at fault. I DONT BELIEVE IT!!!!!!
