Obituary.us.org Andy Wright, Obituary SpecialistBrian Thompson, Andy's Boss advertised $1.00 search for an obituary for an individual, then stated it was 18.95 x 12 months. They said they would credit the 18.95 in 2-3 days. It has now been 7 and all I get is a nonsense from them. They are FAKES. Buyers beware. Read all their pages and pages of conditions where they can use all your personal data for whatever they choose. Wilmington Deleware
I contacted Obituary.us.org on 12-26-14. Their ad indicated $1.00 to locate an obituary. I was immediately debited 18.95. I questioned why the charge and was told that is the fee per month for 1 year that I signed up for. (Shame on me for not reading their terms and conditions). I live in California and we do have a 72 hour resending clause of whice I exercised.
I have about 20 e-mails and text messages that they could not find information on the individual I was looking for and was sorry but would cancel my subscription and refund my 18.95 within 2-3 days. It has now been 7 days so they told me today they would just mail me a check and I may receive it in 7-14 days. Why not just debit my account?????
I e-mailed them their exact writing of $1.00 FEE and if I was satisfied I would THEN be changed the 18.95 per month for 12 months once I approved. The "Specialist" and a person I believe to be the owner keep e-mailing me. "Thank you for the order, did you get everything you requested?" When I replied I got a response from a boss names Brian that he would reseach the matter and get back to me within the hour. I am not surprised I got no answer (even after 10 e-mails to him) I received NOTHING other then frustration.
I have read identical stories from other about this company,
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. They talk the talk but never deliver. In my personal opinion they are a HOAX.
