Ocean Auto trying to extort money *UPDATE ..BBB gives unsatisfactory rating
I bought a car from Ocean Auto on 4-18-2001, and have the contract which states the down payment and everything. The signed contract says nothing of any money being owed to the dealer. I received a phone call, yesterday, 5-23-2001, by the salesman saying I owe him money. He said He had it in writing..
I went down there and he had nothing in writing,, and he lied about everything. He is threatening to send this to collections to hurt my credit, even though he knows that the contract says I owe nothing, he wants to destroy my brothers credit, trying to black male me.
He told me that my credit would be hurt and he repeatedly is threatning my brother's credit. My brother co signed on the loan. I requested the name of his boss and of the owner and the license number of the dealership, and three times he refused to give me any of this information.
His name is Wally,,(not sure of the last name) He is the Manager. The dealership is Ocean Auto. I don't understand him trying to extort money from me.

I AM A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER AND KNOW SEVERAL OTHERS PLUS I KNOW WALLY PERSONALLY.
IF YOU SIGNED FOR A LOAN... ARE YOU PAYING IT OR DO YOU OWE MONEY. DID YOU PAY YOUR FULL DEPOSIT. YOU MAKE NO MENTION OF ANY OF THESE FACTS.
OFTEN THE LOANS ARE GIVEN THROUGH THE DEALERSHIP. WHY WOULD SOMEONE RISK THERE JOB AND REPUTATION TO HARASS YOU.
YOUR STORY SOUNDS JUST LIKE THAT. A STORY

After reading Rip-off Reports on the Better Business Bureau, I was surprised to find the following report listed with them..
