Complaint Review: Ocean Canyon Properties

Ocean Canyon Properties As members of OAR as Styx River being our home camp we were ready to finish our contract which we honestly were completing and this company bullied us into a contract resulting in yearly fees for a depleting camp that we can't even use unless we upgrade and pay more. We had been members of AOR, home camp was Styx River for almost the 20 years that we had signed on for and expecially considering Waterworld depleted then gone, Tennis Courts washed out, etc.... we were over it for real. We were called down there and still not sure but obviously Ocean Canyon had purchased Styx River Camping area and were adament to sign us on for longer. It was an absollute NO, they kept going and going. Promised a Put-Put golf area (which sold the kids) and even said where it would be.... promise after promise, reluctantly we signed. Since then all charges have gone up, yearly maintenance fee whether you stay at all or not is now $300 some odd amount and, man, I could go on. No Put-Put and actually gone down hill and the only way we even know is because the grand children went by during the day one day. You see, we can't reserve anything. Ever! We were told to reserve way ahead of time because they have signed an over abundance of members and so I tried to get a cabin seven months ahead. Nope, with my membership I have to call no sooner than 30 days beforehand. I called thirty days exactly beforehand and they had been booked for months. ?? When I got my next bill and got management on the phone they told me that in order to reserve I would probably just need to upgrade.... then continued to give me the spill on how much more money they would need to move up to the next level of plan. Level? There weren't levels before. Now, I have my new bill and a week and a half late because I am attempting to decide what to do and they are hasselling me daily on the phone unbelievably. Even hung up on me the other day. I am so limited anyway on his retirement income... this is dishonest and unfair, but not one to just not pay a bill??? Not right!
