I recently decided to sell my 2005 sporster and found out Harley Davidson now offers a seller assist program. I inquired about it and was met with mixed reviews at Harley Davidson of Ocean County. no one seemed to have any clear answers even what the fee was I was given three different fees rangeing from $300-$400 I chose to work with the higher of them and decided to sell the bike. This program seemed to meet what I needed since there was a loan and a extened service warranty on the bike and they would transfer everything to the new buyer for a fee. My job was to find the buyers and they would do the financing and all the paper work. I sent them three buyers and they did thier work and sold all three buyers new bikes. Tha last one is the only one who spoke to me and told me that Jason of the finance department told him that these bikes come in all the time and are pieces of crap and that the buyer should consider buying a new bike with a warranty. I sold three bikes for HDOC and did not even receive a comision.LOL I confronted them on the matter and they all played dumband pretended that they had no clue as to what I was talking about. This may very well be an up and up program but HDOC uses it for thier benefit to move thier inventory and the funny thing is that when I sold it I was gonna buy another bike from them. I guess we now know that won't happen
