"I bought an I-pod touch 4th generation as a gift, which was given 38 days after I received it.

@ 1st use, it was found to have a scratched screen, the orientation changing mechanism didn't work, and there was a dead spot on the touch screen, so w, a, and keyboard change did not work.

Ocean Reef's response: "Sorry. More than 30 days. We can't do anything for you. But thanks for your business."

Ocean Reef makes NO exceptions to their policy, even when they are completely in the wrong. I would definitely avoid doing any business with this place. They are completely unconcerned about customer satisfaction and definitely not interested in doing the right thing.
