Ocean Rider ripoff fraudulently misrepresents suitability of H.capensis seahorses for home tanks Internet
Ocean Rider in an effort to sell more of their H.capensis seahorses, place untrue information on their website about the natural habitat of this seahorse, attempting to fool the buying public that these seahorses are tropical.
A very large percentage of these seahorses die from a disease affecting their tails, due to their inability to stand the hot temperatures in a tropical tank.
If they were correctly sold as temperate species, members of the public wanting to buy them would realize they need to buy a water cooler system for their tanks. This additional cost would dissuade many people from buying these seahorses.
In an effort to boost sales of a delicate species of seahorse that would not sell well, Ocean Rider falsify their documentation about the origin of the seahorse, DESPITE being reliably informed by many people that their information is incorrect.
