This devil company admits to my lawyer, That they charged fees that were not legal. But they still want to take my house. My husband and I are disabled. our home was the last one we thought we would ever have and we were happy there. It was handicapped excessable andwe had no problem living there, but after ocwen put us in forclosuer we had no choice but to move.(and our payment at that time were paid in advance) So we had to pay people to move us.Now they admit they charge to much but wont do any thing about it. We now live in a mobile home and have left the home we were so happy in. All we want is justice. I have spoke with so many people this company has hurt, How is this possible in the great USA. I know GOD will not allow this to keep happening. So please if this has happened to you report it dont let then get away with it, their has to be some one out there who can stop this. Mark - Mayfield Hts. Ohio, hate to be the one to tell you this, but you are still in the honeymoon period with Ocwen

Mark:

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you are still in the honeymoon period with Ocwen. The first 2 or 3 years of your loan life, they are all sweetness and light. Just about that time, I think a red flag must go up on their accounts because that's when they start their dirty tricks.

They slowly and deceptively start trying to take away what is rightfully yours. How do I know this? Because this is what happened to me.

I have always had very good credit and have only had one or two late payments in my credit history. So, how does Ocwen get at someone like me? They can't say I'm a deadbeat who doesn't pay. What they did with me was start "losing" my payments. I would mail them 2 weeks before they were due, but how interesting that they wouldn't find them at Ocwen's payment center until 4-6 weeks later! They claimed they had never been sent until later. I began asking for the postmarked envelope on my payments and they said those are immediately thrown away -- how convenient!

Their next trick was to start tacking on all kinds of late fees. I took my pleas for help to the BBB in Florida -- COMPLETELY USELESS!

I finally wrote the Thrift Supervision, and I think the only reason I've been given a reprieve with Ocwen was because they had no leg to stand on...all my other accounts have and were in excellent order. Needless to say, I now only send my payments to their Orlando office via overnight courier and request a signature delivery.

This is a sleeping dragon for me. I'm planning to sell my house in another year or two and dread what may lay ahead with Ocwen when I try to sell!
I've read the horror stories here of others who have tried to sell.

How about the woman who wrote in awhile back that Ocwen wouldn't accept a faxed copy of her cancelled check as payment? They actually had the gall to ask her to mail in the original!!!

All may be peaches and cream with this company right now Mark, but please don't ever let your guard down while you're under their credit control! They like to pounce when you least expect it!

Send your Affidavit to Mr. k. Hanson, please.

Mark:

I have sent a lot of notarized Affidavits to Mr. Hanson and to other people and institutions (family members and some personal friends also), stating how abominable, despicable, and satanic Ocwen Federal Bank is.

Your experiece is the one and only of its kind. Please, send your notarized Affidavit to Mr. Hanson STAT! or IMMEDIATELY! Of course, you will send it first to the multitude of Ocwen's lawyers fighting against Mr. Hanson's lawyer (only one single lawyer).

The group of prestigious lawyers Ocwen is using against solitaire Mr. Hanson's lawyer is very stressed out, in such a way that the poor things ask the judge in charge for only one thing: time and time, and more time. Those poor little souls need time, so they can show they have been good to one sould. Why don't you help them out, Mark?

Not will only your testimony help Ocwen's lawyers; but your case can get publicity in CNN, FOX, etc. etc. That is free publicity that will help your friends a lot. Do it, please.

Why do I ask you this if I hate Ocwen so much? For one simple reason. We all (friends and enemies)"want" justice, just that, plain justice. So, if you are satisfied with Ocwen, is only fair that you let the entire world know how happy you are with them.

Not only that, and you will need to forgive me onthis. Why don't you give your full name out? Ocwen would be so happy if you volunteer your personal full information to the Americn people. Who knows? They might gratify you in so many ways.

You don't have to be afraid of us, aggravated owners, because the ED will not let us establish contact with you or with your info. Only Ocwen needs to know your address and who you really are.

If you make public your full name Ocwen will be so happy with you that they'll give you the following:

1. A free credit report.

2. $100 in coupons to buy groceries.

3. Referrals to buy insurance and other services from its affiliated companies.

Congratulations, Mark!

Marlene- the person in Florida who hates Ocwen the most.

P.S. I don't think they will send you flowers, but who knows?!

Because you are the first to ever make this Comment, I wonder. You sound like the Owner of Ocwen trying to get a little something. As soon as you forward your statement to our Lawyers I am certain you will get a something.

Mark --- Mayfield Hgts Ohio --- Send in Your AFFIDAVIT

Waow, Mark:

There must be some magic in them heights over there in Mayfield. You are the first person ever to reveal that Ocwen has been actually fair to you. Let's see the statistical significance of that . . . 1,000:1 . That's a great ratio.

The timing is also remarkable, given that my lawyers just in mid-December filed a pleading noting that NOT ONCE during the past 18 months had any homeowner stated at RipOffReport or in emails to us that they had been treated fairly by Ocwen. I am very impressed (no sacarsm here).

Please, please, please send me an Affidavit regarding your wonderful experience with Ocwen. A sworn, notarized statement is not asking too much (of course, a photocopy of your latest payment coupon or invoice from Ocwen would help a lot too).

I guess 2004 will turn out to be the year of wonders after all. Oh, I just can't wait to add your Affidavit to the 200 others we have received, all of which unfortunately spell out in detail the absolutely horrible things Ocwen has done to these homeowners nationwide, as reported also by CBS Evening News, the Palm Beach Post, American Banker, Home Equity News, and other newsmedia.

SORRY GUYS, OCWEN HAS BEEN FAIR TO ME

#7Consumer Suggestion

Fri, January 02, 2004

I hate to be the odd man out, but I've been an Ocwen customer for 2 years and have had nothing but excellent service. My dad passed away in October, and they allowed me to skip a month with no late fee. I have not recieved any requests for forced insurance (I have my own), and have had no discrepanecies with escrow or tax payments.

Sorry guys, no complaints from me.

What is wrong with your lawyer? File for an injunction!

#7Consumer Comment

Thu, December 11, 2003

If Ocwen has openly admitted to your lawyer that they have charged illegal fees, why didn't your lawyer file for an injunction to protect you and your home?

Nine times out of ten, Ocwen takes these homes not for past due payments, but for FEES. Fees that they produce from thin air.

Ocwen can manufacture fees faster than anyone can ever pay them. The fees are the hook that will get the homeowner in the end. The fees are what steal your home!

This is the only attorney I know in existence in America today who is willing to go the distance with Ocwen. The suit filed in Hartford is a RICO action. Mr. Hanson would probably be very interested to know about Ocwen admitting openly to doing something illegal.

Bless you both.
