My wife and I have been trying, without any success, to have ocwen send us a check for the overage amount in our escrow account. Initially the procedure seemed very simple and straight forward. Ocwen told us in a monthly statement that there was excess money in our escrow account and that the amount would be sent to us within 30 days. That was in October of 2014. We waited more than the 30 days and made an inquiry with ocwen. They said they were reevaluating the escrow accounts and that it would be another month or so before the new figures were available. I thought that was odd because it is really a matter of simple math so what is there to refigure? But we waited. In the meantime we received another letter from them stating that it would not be until at least January 2015 that they would have the correct figures. So we waited. We heard nothing from ocwen and called them the first week of February. It was at that point the people in the Call Center told us they would begin processing a check and send it to us. We heard nothing and received nothing by the 3rd week of February so my wife called them at the call center. (The call center is the only way one can speak with the company...that is if you call speaking to someone at a call center speaking with the company?) She was told at that point that the check had been sent via usps on the 20th of Feb., 2015. At that time she was given the correct amount (the same amount it had been in October, 2014) and the check number.

It is now the 3rd of March and still no check. My wife and I feel as if we are being abused at this point. We have been on the phone with these people every day. Sometimes 2-3 times a day. All we want is what is ours lawfully and in a timely manner.
