Complaint Review: Ocwen F.S.B

In the past couple of weeks, I noticed that Fairbanks customers have organized a campaign to e-mail and fax all the major networks' newsmagazines -- like ABC's 20/20, NBC's Dateline, CBS' 60 Minutes and several at CNN -- and newspapers on the same day to explain their plight in the hopes of getting one or more of these organizations to do an expose on the many problems homeowners are facing with this predatory servicer. I think that Ocwen customers should do the same.

A one-day media blitz may be beneficial in that some major media outlet may show an interest in reporting this kind of story if a number of people write in about the outrageous abuses they've had to endure in dealing with Ocwen. Plus, I think it would benefit both Ocwen and Fairbanks customers by showing the media that predatory lending and servicing is not an isolated problem with one company; it's become an industry-wide problem all across this country. And, if we can get just one news organization to pick up this story, it may help other borrowers who may not even realize they're being ripped off. It might also help give Mr. Hanson's putative class action suit some national exposure. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
