ocwen federal bank as the wost customer service.

in september 2003, we made our payement by the phone as usual. few days later the morgage payement was not taking off our account. when calling ocwen to verefy paymemt they told us the money was in their account. my wife and I argued with them telling them that it was not true. after arguing with them for days we gaveup. 3 weeks later we were checking our credit report and it showed that we were 45 day late on our morgage payment.

we argued again with them even mentioning names of the person we spoked to originaly. we finally resent the payement and it took 2 month to get the record removed from our credit report. We decided last month in january to refinance our house with another bank. we needed information from ocwen federal bank so today february 3 someone from the bank contacted us and told us that they could do the refinance them self(after they told us they could not). when checking our records with them a lady name michelle said that we were 20 day late in our second morgage payement( we have first and second with them).

My wife responded by saying how can it be the first morgage payment was taking from our account why the second is still outsanding (we are using same bank account for our morgage payment and payed both first and second the same day). Well hell starded, first they said they had the wrong tracking nimber (1 missing number), second the guy we spoke to argued with my wife and hang-up the phone. Third when we called back we asked to speak with a manager no-one was available and they hang-up the phone again. Fourth when we spoke with someone it was the collection desk telling us we were in collection and that it was again reported to our credit report. We started to speak with the bank at 1:15 pm PST and now it is 3:16 PSt we still are on the phone trying to resolve this matter.

My point is, they are rude, improfessionel and when they screw up there are never at fault. On then top of that they still want us to refinance with them. I don't think so. Now might not be able to refinance the house because of there screw up.

This company has had more complaint that any bank I know. I hope they get reported for the safety of other home owners.
