I bought my 1st home in December of 2000, and Ocwen bought the loan to it. I had problems with them from from day one. First it started with them not sending me monthly billing statments. I made numerous calls and would include a note note with my check informing them of the problem. I had to remember when to send the check and also the amount of the payment. I got into the habit to round up the amount, because it made it easier for me.

Ocwen finally got around to send me billing statements in Febuary. They sent me about thirty statments for that month. It was in May that I finally convinced them to stop that statement.

I had made Febuary's payment and they did not enter the amount correctly into my account. I was harassed by them. They went so far as to send me a certifed letter stating that they were in the process of forclosing on me. I had a hard time convincing them of their error, they went as far as to call me a deadbeat!!!

After all that was said and done they were in the wrong, I wanted a letter from them saying that they were sorry. I can piture the response from them when they read that one!!!

I had remortaged my loan this past December, and I hoped that another bank would pick up my loan, you talk about being upset when I got the papers in the mail from Ocwen for my new loan. My new loan is paid for two months, and I pay a little extra on it then what the actually amount is. I do this because I don't want to high anymore surprises from them. I can't deal with their tactics.

We as consumers need to band together and do something about them.
